Your pup looks like our beloved first rescue, the best first dog ever!
Does he tend to freak out over the sirens? Or fireworks etc? Among my 11 lifetime dogs, they’ve spanned the spectrum from not seeming to notice, to bored recognition, to shivering and hiding.
It’s great you’ve found a way to help him stay calm. With dedicated sniffers, the doggo brain seems to get taken over by interesting scents and shuts out the outside world!
