We often clamor for transparency then recoil when we see beyond the surface. But in the case of medical information about President Biden’s health in light of his debate performance, we deserve to know the truth, however distressing.

@gshevlin Of course, although we might need to use shelf paper to list the maladies.

@NorthernInvader @cassandra17lina

That seems like it might be an over simplification.

It also seems like conferring with his family and others is an indication he’s giving the situation serious consideration.

That seems prudent and should give his conclusions merit.

@Curiousfoolish

If he withdraws Trump wins. See notus.org/2024-election/biden- - they will make it near impossible to change him now. They have been planning this along with the attacks on BIden for a long time.

Absolutely transparent publicity hit job. No argument.

That doesn’t mean things don’t happen and plans don’t change.

Definitely don’t think a change of plan should be equated to total loss, that also seems like a narrow portrayal.

@NorthernInvader Maybe, but the fact that he took multiple international trips and scheduled this debate in the midst of an exhausting schedule while sick over the objections of advisors is worrisome. He’s got my vote, but he’s putting the country at risk in my opinion.

@cassandra17lina I suspect that the Trump org. made changing the date difficult and their following framing of that a publicity coup.

@cassandra17lina It's my understanding that he took some cold medication that affected him in the beginning but wore off. Was he not better towards the end? I did not watch.

@TrueBloodNet I could not watch more than this first 25 minutes (and I watch all debates typically.)

@cassandra17lina I cannot stand the face of TFG so that's why I didn't watch. Plus, it didn't matter what happens I am voting blue up and down the ballot.

@cassandra17lina @TrueBloodNet

It's all very odd to me. Joe has had some blunders, sure, but to be that off was very strange to me. Still, I'm on his side and find it extremely annoying that the media treated the felon's lies like business as usual. Imo, that's become a huge problem...his deceit shouldn't be glossed over as if, been there, done that.
