Trying to get my #dogs to drink water after a walk in the oppressive heat isn’t easy, but they’re excited to get a few sips of low-sodium chicken broth. #DogsOfCoSo
@janallmac oh, they drink plenty of water later in the day, but I worry that they need to front-load their hydration since their maximum exertion is between 7-8 in the morning.

@janallmac @cassandra17lina we have one of those little pet fountains and our cats and pup love drinking out if it. They love moving water.
Few sips? My Abby would drink the whole carton. She loved broth.

@cassandra17lina Your dogs don't want to drink water? Gosh, mine do, enthusiastically. I've been putting ice cubes in their water at home here lately. The beagle, who was not well cared for the first year of her life, seems to believe water will be in short supply and will lick the dew off the grass sometimes -- I think that must be one way she survived as a little stray. 😟
