Morning #sniffari achievement unlocked: Mesozoic mystery. The remnants of Hurricane Ian washed up a lot of plastic debris, but today we spotted a brand new red Tyrannosaurus. I certainly would’ve noticed this as we walk along this area several times a week. My first thought was to return with a long handled rake to snatch it up, but it occurred to me that the parent of a child who dropped this off the wooden walkway might be planning the same thing. If it’s still there next week, though…

-beside the point but btw, your initial posts about a “sniffari” gave me a fresh perspective on dog walking… and now every time my partner joins me in walking our dog and attempts to RUSH the process, I say “HEY! This is his #sniffari time—chill!!”😆
@TanSuitPlease It makes a huge difference in my male dog’s behavior if I let him take the time to sniff everything along our route, however tedious it might seem for me, so the #sniffari is time well spent.
