@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine true. In my FIL's case though, he was terrified.of being alone, and dealing with untreated trauma, leading to essentially abuse tactics to try to make everyone as unhappy as he was at the end.
But yeah. It's a rough situation for all involved, but I hadn't thought about applying that "passivly suicidal" to that type of experience, but it fits so well.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine that honestly makes a lot of sense. My father-in-law passed before the pandemic but due to various health issues had already kind of reached to that point.

Never heard back specifically about my proposal. But got told to report to a new lead ( technically my old lead when I was on a different team) and that I would still be doing essentially the same stuff just working with her. Had a meeting with her and she alluded to there's some other changes in the pipeline.

So, we'll see what happens.
