Recruiter: I saw your LinkedIn and I have a great senior position for you. You'd be a great fit.
Me: Ok, let's talk.
R: So tell me what you've been working on.
Me: (explains exactly what's on my resume)
R: Oh, they want more experience with X.

Talk about a waste of 15 minutes.

Please don't call me when I'm obviously not a great fit.

I know it's not everyone's fault, I know that many many many people have fought. But moments like this make me really wonder if the hope is gone. I used to work watching television news for 8 hours a day. I've seen the slow decay to where we are now. And some days I just find it hard

The company bought Music.ly recently and has been spamming ads everywhere

My wife recent "discovered" TikTok after all the freaking ads. She's been watching vids for hours.

Me: You are obsessed! You are diving down a rabbit hole that I can't follow!
Her: I'll get a shovel. We can make it bigger.

So, had to get a new phone this weekend. Wife had her phone get ruined by alcohol. So I gave her my V30, cause she needed a phone with decent battery. Ordered the Essential Phone from Amazon for pretty cheap. Now she loves the V30, and I'm here rocking the Essential.

Actually liking it so far

Made the 2.2 mile loop to make up for my rain out last night. Wooo

Today was the first time in almost a week I didn't walk at least one mile. Went to go on my walk and a storm popped up. I've been keeping up with my goals and I'm still feeling good about myself. Woo-hoo.

You know, I suck at Social Media. But I love that this place is still here, and still being pretty awesome.

Pretty sure I've heard of them before, but I will def have to check that place out. Living about 30 min outside Louisville currently, so getting to some places gets just annoying enough to be difficult.
