I know it's not everyone's fault, I know that many many many people have fought. But moments like this make me really wonder if the hope is gone. I used to work watching television news for 8 hours a day. I've seen the slow decay to where we are now. And some days I just find it hard
@Steve3762 @carver While I agree with your premise, those of us who have been sexually assaulted have a different perspective. Putting a probable attacker on the SC is a really tough blow and a slap in the face by our government. That's hard when you are midstream in a battle to prevent this moron in the WH from starting another world war.
@MorningMoon @carver
Yep, I really did miss the personal perspective there. Sorry.
@Steve3762 @carver π With all the clamor it's easy to do. No apology necessary.

@carver @Steve3762 I completely understand. It is terrifying. I was raised by a Nazi and a religious fanatic. For 35 years I lived everyday of my life under a canopy of emotional suppression. It was 35 years of struggling to hold onto my inner strength. Then I fought back and learned how a free life really is. As bad as it is, it is not over.
@carver @MorningMoon
Ok, I understand. But a little perspective might serve. Yes a whiney little frat boy is on the Supreme Court. But think back to 1941 and 42. The world really was in a dark time and guess what? We prevailed, as we will now. Lift up you heart mate, all will come right.
