@Minholkin After graduation. I call these heaven & hell weeks. I think my worry over making our Alternative Ed Kids know they are valued&recognized just gets to me...lots of different tasks and check lists. On the other hand hugs & grateful parents, kids inviting me to their parties, asking to take pictures with by parents & students, flowers, their beautiful smiling faces makes it all worth while (when it’s over and I know everything is good) Still got a couple hanging on by a thread.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Went to Javi’s last week town about 40 minutes away witching 3 hours bank was texting there were charge coming out of BAja....craziness on the upside my moneys safely protected and I already have my new card.
@GeekMom727 congratulations...I love graduation.Pomp & Circumstance is the one song guaranteed to make me cry though this will be my 43 graduation attendance.
So don’t think I’ve jumped ship. I can’t just blurt here, I communicate. Had pneumonia, and sinus infection and laryngitis. Waiting on a strep culture but shhh as soon as my antibiotics were on board & wasn’t contagious except norovirus had to go in. Just too much I put on senior banquet, handle caps & gowns & had two large IEP with extended assessments.Not whining I think I’m getting better.Hope so.Next week is graduation- and for our school with no committees it’s the teachers that do it all.

@FergySon True.. But I'd argue the rhetoric started way back with talk radio hot heads like Rush Limbaugh. Trump's ability to win the 2016 election was the eventual outcome of decades (if not, centuries) of provoked hatred and perpetuated bigotry and fear. Our problem was that we didn't want to believe so many in today's world would fully embrace that evil.
But, now we know. I can't find room to truly respect someone who says they don't follow politics or who doesn't care.
