I am sitting here watching my work laptop work through some profane ritual masquerading as a BIOS update.
It's on its third reboot and each time it goes down, the sound system sounds like it is gasping for breath after being punched in the gut.
I am almost afraid to leave it alone until I see the desktop again.
Excuse me while i poke the dragon.

7X + 1Y = 12 just doesn't work when X and Y have to be whole numbers because they are the number of lines in the log for each error.
And no one cal tell me how they found 12 lines with errors in the log when there were only 8 records that had errors:
* 7 errors of one type
* 1 error of another
Sure, if Y=5, and X=1, then it works, but the equation doesn't balance if no one knows what X and Y are.
So how's your day going?
Day 6 of my wife with COVID19. I'm starting the count last Thursday when she was concerned enough by a sore throat that she asked for a home test. She didn't get a positive test till Saturday.
Looks like she will be back teaching tomorrow. I'm just hoping with 3 other teachers in her grade out sick, she isn't pushed to cover for others.
And it seems that I was able to avoid it, with negative tests Saturday and today.
I'm really not all that interesting, unless you consider the coffee-fueled mania that is the day-to-day struggle of my love affair with data interesting.
