@Oma_Trisha
Wrong; I obviously began this with a question, attempting to โ€œunderstand it.โ€

So as youโ€™ve volunteered, explain that reasoning for me.
Where do you suggest I download individualsโ€™ private astronomy photos, minus the watermark?๐Ÿฟ

@Oma_Trisha
I donโ€™t have the need to yet, thanks for the suggestion; itโ€™s just the idea of CS attempting to own whatโ€™s Not theirs, as they ruin good pristine astronomy pictures etc.

A monochrome image of yesterday's sun (couldn't get it to post yesterday). The active regions 3140 and 3141 are quite... well... active.

@catherineryanhyde

That's awesome work!
Too bad CS adds their watermark to individuals' work.

Anybody have any ideas on how we can get them to stop doing that? CS doesn't own such images.

I'm not sure Counter Social should be watermarking ALL photos with "counter.social/"

It definitely ruins any and photos that aren't owns at all by CS.

How do we get this changed?

When scientists first saw this image from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, they thought the pattern of rings might be an illusion, like a lens flare in a photograph. But further analysis shows that the remarkably regular rings are shells of cosmic dust created every eight years by the binary star at the center, Wolf-Rayet 140.

Webb offers never-before-seen details of early universe

"With Hubble, it was just this pale, red dot. We could tell it was really small, just a tiny galaxy in the first 400 million years of the universe. Now we look with Webb, and we're able to resolve TWO objects!

I just finished watching the documentary on Prime Video called Good Night Oppy. What a lovely and sweet tribute. I highly suggest watching it.
