After planning a retirement in paradise, I sadly left Sarasota for good this year. The politics became unbearable - we had Truth Social HQ, Mike Flynn the traitor, a founder of Moms for Liberty, book bans, Proud Boys, etc.

The greed of FL developers propelled by years of corruption has ruined the Gulf. Red tide starves the Gulf of oxygen & kills fish. Human waste pollutes. The cost of living drives workers to live out of town. It's a cautionary tale. 😢
