@MrGoat This rule actually played a part in ending one of my relationships because she wanted to get married and just couldn't seem to understand that doing so would actually fuck us hard enough to not be able to live like we were living at the time.

TBF, there were other reasons. But this was a big sticking point with her.

Gamers Nexus - Scumbag Intel: Shady Practices, Terrible Responses, & Failure to Act

Holy shit. I decided to go AM5 with my new PC this year and now I'm really glad I did. Intel getting taken to the woodshed here.

Hurt your brain in a good way, deciphering languages and solving puzzles in a mythical tower full of divided peoples that need someone to unite them.

I very much enjoyed this game, but then I've always liked semantics. Pretty setting, excellent music. Figuring out each language's words was done well. Playing translator between 2 languages was brain hurty in the best way. 👍 👍

@Kaysymmetry That was a fun little jaunt. I quite liked having her around afterwards. She's quite cheery.

I've been enjoying Chants of Sennaar quite a bit the last couple days. I've always had a thing for semantics despite not actually learning another language beyond knowing how to curse in it.

@MrGoat Move me on to any black square Use me any time you want Just remember that the goal Is for us all to capture all we want, anywhere

Royksopp - Poor Leno

It hurts me more than little bit that this LP is coming up on 25 years old.

The shitty part about it being 112°F outside is it's currently 89°F inside this fucking RV. And that's an excellent temperature delta for these things. Only achieved because I turned on the AC this morning and got it down to 72° before 9 am.

@JanetZumba_FalPals Nope. 1) I am not as much of a fan of dogs as I am cats which leads me to 2) we have 4 cats in this RV, lol. 3) and most importantly, this is a "working" breed who really should have some space to run around in and not be enclosed in a tiny RV/RV lot space. Why they've been looking for a better place for him. John had a lot of friends/so does his ex so hopefully they can find him something copacetic.

I posted too soon, lol. Didn't work out at the first place with 2 dogs, as I more than half expected. So I will be walking Archie again tomorrow morning. Not sure when they're going to try the other place with only one dog. Don't know if that's gonna work out better. Archie been a solo pup since weaning so it's gonna take some time to intro him into a sitch with another full time dog around. Guess we'll see.

@PurpleDragon Some other good ones I've played the last year or so are Harold Halibut, Botany Manor, Truberbrook, Return to Monkey Island, NORCO, Pentiment, Encodya.

@scottronaut5150 I'm hoping I did a good enough job he will get along with new dogs without too much issue cause he's definitely friendly and needs more interesting interactions than he was getting before. John was a good dude but he really shouldn't have had a dog like Archie. There was no way he could keep up with what Archie needs. Kinda dog that needs to go run after something till he stops bringing it back to you lol

@scottronaut5150 Like yesterday, a Pitt/mastiff mix the owner had taken the leash off in a park we passed came tearing out across the street to come "meet" us. Because he didn't bark or act aggressive Archie just sat where I told him. I got a knot on my shin sticking my leg into the Pitt's path. But other than that it was ok.

Today 2 Pitts some homeless dude owns started barking as we passed and Archie got all histrionic, jumping and lunging and yowling back at em. So he still needs some work.

@scottronaut5150 He is for the most part. As I said, still young and spoiled, so we had some issues when we started walking. He felt like he could do what he wanted, and he always wanted to meet other dogs. Not exactly a problem except he thought he was entitled to lol. Almost pulled me off my feet a couple times before he learned I don't play that game. He got a lot better, but if dogs were at all aggressive, barked at him etc, he'd lose his shit and be hard to control. But he's much improved.

It seems this morning was my final walk with John's dog. His ex came by a bit ago to collect him. A couple of John's friends have offered to take the dog. Both situations sound nice. Option one is a place with some land and two new dog friends. If that doesn't work option 2 is a place with at least more space than an RV lot and 1 new dog friend. John spoiled the crap outta his dog lol, but the last 2 months I spent training him best I could, so I hope it works out for him. Good luck, Archie.

@th3j35t3r

He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody

@NaomiSkarzinski He's definitely a handsome boy, but his "cousin sister" (long story) Alien is the pretty one of the 4 we have.

@TrueBloodNet He was one of the few people in this RV park I actually liked talking to, so yeah. I wish we'd been quicker to get him help. I've been walking his dog every day since he went in. His ex is taking care of his affairs so will be finding the dog a new home etc.
