Well, bonus, absolute unit of shitlord owner of the trailer park is finally paying to get some work done on the place, crew here to fix busted concrete. Negatives: they ain't fixing shit at our spot other than the gutter out front, and we have to listen to jackhammers for days.

Last time I checked, I am getting close to 2 years of played time in WoW. As I sit here with a cat on my lap, playing PGA 2K23, it occurs to me I have to have at least 2 years game time with cats on my lap.

Another morning of raking up wet leaves during a break in the storms, this time with a shoulder brace. .. I think I didn't exacerbate the problems in that shoulder.. Problem with most support gear is it doesn't STOP me from doing things, lol. I recognize I'm not 20 any more, I do everything more methodically than I used to. I just don't know when to stop cause I have too high a tolerance for pain. I'm that guy people ask "hey you know you're bleeding, right?"
"huh? where?"

Huh, thunderstorm? Didn't see that in the forecast this morning.

Not too bad, dropped to 20fps stepping off the boat, but it's still a bit busy with players and I do have the settings pretty high for this literally decade old PC lol. It's not so bad things are stuttering.. Yet.

Well this is an excellent start. Logged in to one error (out of date handy notes legion treasures), the system settings are still on 7 and I'm still getting an avg 30fps standing in SW Harbor, looking back into the city. Jumps to 50fps when I turn around to face the sea. Next up is jumping on the boat and heading to the land of Dragons, see how this holds up.

Finally have some PC time all to myself today, so I'm going to attempt to play some . I'm guessing by now most people have gotten past the opening area so player density won't be a problem dragging my frames into the red...? Curious to see how Lutris/DXVK handle the new expansion. Last time I logged on I was averaging 30fps at 7 settings, with notable dips in crowded areas. Addons updating, and I'ma check if there's any new runners in Lutris before jumping in.

@NinaLove We haven't gotten enough rain for most of the last 20 years here on the West Coast, USA. At this point I cherish a good rainstorm.

Another rainy day. I like rain. I like being in rain. Worked out in it today. I have covers over the space the equipment is in, gotta protect that, but I like being out there doing stuff in the rain. Guess I'm not grown up enough to abstain from splashing in the puddles.

Having played 4 rounds of PGA Tour 2K23 (what, you don't play 4 round tournaments?), I can definitely state: this has that EA FIFA "changed the rosters and mildly tweaked things, NEW GAME!" feel. If you played the previous game, this isn't much different. Season pass junk, caddies (including females!) a third person in the "broadcast booth" (another female!), new music, some mild skill trees for your clubs are new. Core game the same, even the 2 guys broadcast audio lines lol.

@LnzyHou Yeah I def need to get some kinda back scratcher lol, my shoulders are both questionable these days

@Julie_in_FL Good idea, I might even have a couple around here somewhere..

I guess I pushed my left shoulder too hard raking wet leaves yesterday. Giving me issues during certain motions. I can feel a tendon "clunking" in there when I move, and reaching behind me to scratch my lower back is a bad idea, I have discovered. Partner ordered a shoulder support device cause it's becoming obvious I've done enough damage over the years it needs some external help/also some self PT to strengthen muscle groups for better internal support. Aye, gettin old.

Aight I'm starting to get into more now that I'm able to solo grind stuff. It def isn't Destiny, not that I expected it to be. I'm liking the story lines in the main quests. The mission variety is cool too. Incubated a furry combat companion. Crafted an arcwing.

Having said that, I'm gonna be bouncing off it for a bit tomorrow lol. Bought PGA Tour 2K23 on sale tonight. Liked the series since the OG Golf Club. Been a sucker for golf games since Golf on the . FORE!

Ah, rain. Def needed here. Not needed: the massive leaf fall it produces from the fruitless mulberries all over the trailer park. Went and raked up all I could, from the alcoholic dude that hates everybody 2 spots to the "left" of us, down to the mostly deaf dialysis guy 2 spots to the "right", who prob doesn't know my name. I don't have to like em to be neighborly, shrug. They older than me and ain't in great health. ..it isn't as easy as it was 20 years ago tho, lol. "today on This Old Back.."

In the process of shutting off the water/getting tools to work on shower/turning on the water to test it one of the other furry bastards got out. Had to go track her down under a neighbor's trailer a couple spots over. Thankfully she came to me with the promise of treats out of the box I was shaking. Now it's time to go blow leaves out and then workout time.

Eventful day so far. Partner had early shift. I got up, fed the cats, only to have one immediately wharf a hairball/her breakfast almost on the bed but I tossed her off in time. Cleaned that up. Then on her break partner says "did you see the puddle in the bathroom?" .. no... "I think the new shower taps are leaking?" Joy. Connections weren't leaking so I guessed it was coming from the inside. Pulled it off the wall and water came out. Guessed right. Sealed it up with E6000, crossed fingers lol.
