@DeadlyAccurate There's def a new char tutorial. I play solo so I'm unsure if you can group up for it, but I *think* you have to get through the first part of it alone. Part way in you get dropped into the Cosmodrome so maybe you can group then? As for the DLC, I've bought all of it at this point (they have sales fairly often for the older stuff so you can hold out for a bit if you trying to save $) and I have enjoyed the story addition but it's not necessary esp if you're exclusively PVPing.

Damn I really need to upgrade my PC or build a new one lol. 9 hours to back up a 500gb HDD is a bit nuts. I guess I'm waiting till morning to upgrade my Mint 20.2 to 20.3. Don't want to deal with it tonight if something breaks.

Had to restart #BotW. Bought a 512gb SD for the #SteamDeck, went to migrate Emudeck to the card. Instead, created a second installation. Moved over my saves, thinking if I uninstalled it would remove the internal files. It removed all the files, lol. Rookie mistake. Oh well, least I hadn't gotten *that* far. Already regained the paraglider. Next up, get a horse again. Lot easier 2nd time through, heh. #CoSoGaming

Feeling spoiled. @StonePiggy surprised me yet again with a present. This time it was a Kobalt portable 10" table saw. Don't have a use for it.. yet. Should come in handy when I decide to tackle the back corner of the RV where several leakages occurred over the years before we acquired it. The pressboard underneath the fiberglass skin has dry rotted somewhat significantly. Need to replace a section at least 3'x3'. Likely replace studs too. I like tools. #TrailerParkLife

I listen to this and it's 20 years ago. I'm standing in a Game Crazy talking to the clerk with my headphones angled off one ear so I can hear. Or I'm walking downtown to go see my homeless friends. Or sitting in my recliner playing Burnout on the PS2, stoned as balls. Or dozens of other remembrances.

@etakeh Yeah same. I made a bunch of tapes off the "Sounds of the Seasons" digital audio channel from Comcast when digital cable boxes were first introduced. They were my BGM for a lot of stuff but esp my "outside the house" time. I can still rem the track order on them lol. Oddest channel, that was. Xmas and Halloween music, theme music for a few other days. 80% of the time tho it was playing Massive Attack, Amon Tobin, LTJ Bukem, Mandalay, People Under the Stairs, Prefuse 73, The Dining Rooms.

@etakeh I often had my TVs connected to a stereo so I do actually some some audio tapes of some of the stuff I was listening to. Don't get much play these days as I don't have a player/wouldn't wanna wear em out completely, but at some point I wanna play em at Shazam or something cause I didn't write down EVERY thing that's on em, heh.

@etakeh Yep, born on date is 76 for me. I listened to just a ton of shit. Everything from the last century. Parents brought me up on 30s to 70s, both popular and world stuff. Older half brother exposed me to a lot of 70s and 80s alt/punk/experimental shit. In my teens/20s I listened to all the popular stations so there was plenty of rap/alt/grunge etc. These days it's mostly Ambient, Deep Tech/Dub/House, Fut Garage/Wave. But there's still some room for the Boom Bap or Detroit Electro, as well.

Today's #TrailerParkLife Episode: Why is my water pressure so low? Got up this cold morning and had trouble flushing the toilet the pressure was so low. Is there a leak in the RV? The connection hose? Did some water freeze in the hose(gonna be cold for a few weeks, need to rem to run the water overnight)? Did a neighbor's hookup blow out, lowering the pressure park wide? Another problem? Annoying, these problems. Esp with water in an RV. Leaks are never a good time. It's better now so, shrug?

Lately I've been mildly amused at the dynamic of new "TV" shows and viral vids shining lights on songs of yesteryear. I saw Tidal has partnered with/partially built (I think the devs are Tidal employees or something I forget) an app that will showcase songs that hit the Billboard all the way back to the 60s so that new gens can see what was viral in the old days. I content myself by staying hipster "yeah well, the best shit never hit the Billboard, man."

I have conquered my music collection's unruly meta tag situation, as well as my less than ideal file organization. After running a dupe check and consolidating some folders, I pared down the Music folder by nearly 10 GB. The final tally:

My OCD is now satisfied. I can return to other pursuits.
