@etakeh I have. Still have the file for it somewhere, I believe. From iunno like 2007? Or so? 1.2 gigs if memory serves.

I started working on a laptop bag today. I really love this space fabric!

Currently ripping to storage. By my count at least half this collection was riffed on by the MST3K/Rifftrax guys. I'm almost glad we moved from the potential flooding in our usual spot (it hasn't, but better safe, huh?) and didn't bring internet with us, cause I'm finally motivated to rip my DVDs lol. I do miss checking my SoundCloud and RSS feeds, playing or , . Last storms this weekend, should be moving back by Tues.

@Skyye *bow* Yeah it's a decent little game, you can feel the love the dev has for Myst. It's not super long, I have 4 hours to complete it, 8/10 achievements (last 2 hidden, prob have to do with the other ending I'll prob go see just because).

CP2077 is great, highly recommend.

Haven Moon (, ) 3d Myst homage. Explore several islands, solve puzzles, 2 endings.

This is a very pretty Myst clone. Good sound direction, nice music. The one major downfall is its linearity. Myst allows you to go down several paths before you *have* to solve something. HM has one path, if you can't solve a step, you're stuck/need a guide. There's a good hints based guide on Steam. Deck owners: game is a battery killer. Play docked/charging.

Capsized (, ) A 2d platform shooter. Crashed on an alien planet, explore, fight off hostile aliens, rescue your shipmates, and escape back to orbit.

This is a decent little game with a kick-ass OST provided by Solar Fields, but it's hampered by the gamepad control scheme. After several tries I eventually set the difficulty to easy in order to finish the final 2 stages. Does have co-op tho. Feels like 2 people could handle it better than 1. 👍

If forecasts are to be believed, it looks like this weekend will be the last of the bad storms, so we'll prob move back to our reg spot Tues or Weds, which will be good for my insomnia, too much noise this close to the street.

Currently ripping files from "50 Sci-fi Classics Collection" which contains such gems as "She Gods of Shark Reef", "The Waso Woman", "Bride of the Gorilla", and "The Brain Machine". , have def plumbed this collection for a dozen+ shows.

@etakeh yeah I buzz mine to ⅛th of an inch every 2 months all the way up the sides/back. It's almost a top knot, except I don't quite go that far. Only thing I could color would be the long part, which I have done from time to time.

Also, for someone used to being terminally online (70 gigs of data just to my phone over WiFi last month) not having that broadband IV drip is a little rough. But I'm finding things to do. Read a book borrowed from Mom (it wasn't great but at least easy to read, 300 pages in 3 hours). I'm working on tagging my music collection (160 gigs, oy). Also ripping my DVDs to storage. And thank goodness @StonePiggy got me that for Xmas and I had time to DL 50 games to it, lol.

So today = a week we've been up on the hill. So far the back of the park hasn't FLOODED, but a couple times there's been ankle deep ponding. Our area has been just missed by the worst rainfall so far. Forecast calls for possibly 4 more bad storms the next couple weeks. We don't really wanna stay up here all month.. but we really don't wanna move back down and hope the storms keep missing us. Park/city really need to do something about the water ingression from the runoff creek.

@etakeh I've been rocking the long hair undercut for 30 years. It's simple to maintain either on my own or via a friend/partner if I'm temporarily too damaged to reach up and behind my head. Gives me some long hair without being overwhelming, and is a good cut for hot summers.

Spending my evening ripping The Angry Beavers complete series. Using Handbrake, which I was a little sus about since it's "sold" as a ripper for devices, but it's def not *just* for devices. Tested it with Afro Samurai, which looked great. Working on ripping all my DVDs to storage. Might donate em after, dunno yet. I just want to be able to watch em without a hassle.

For you people who order from , they're trying to clear out their holiday treats and gift sets. Lots of free stuff. So go take advantage of that. I snagged some dog treats with the food mine usually eat anyway, plus promo codes on top of that.

Well it looks like this weekend into Weds gonna be quite wet. We might finally be "vindicated" for towing out of our spot to this temp spot at the top of the hill. I am not hoping it floods down there since we were the only ones to move.. don't wanna wish bad on those (unintelligent) people.. but if it does man will they be hating life. At least some of them actually think it'd be on the landlord to replace their rigs. Foolish thinking.

The Great Perhaps (, )
First game completion on the Deck. Assume the role of an astronaut recently awakened from cryosleep, returning to a destroyed Earth to attempt to right the wrong using a lantern that enables you to time travel.

Neat little puzzle platformer with a cool time travel mechanic. Interesting to the end, which is a bit of a twist. I had to map a couple of keys and enable Proton Experimental to get it to work properly on Deck.

@etakeh A '76 Toyota Corolla station wagon, bought when I was a few months old and became my car once I got my license. Learned to drive it on back roads in the foothills.

@etakeh at this point having a stick shift is an anti-theft feature.
