i have in the past, tho. old keys & fobs, pens & pencils, tools i use often & have many versions of - measuring tapes & assorted screw drivers, odd screws & nails.
anything that doesn't really have a place or i want to be able to get at quick. or that's the theory, anyway 😋

Manuals for kitchen appliances, jar openers, bottle opener, corkscrew, straw cleaners, rubber bands, can lids, small pipettes I used to give my cat water when he was sick.

Those things are in my tool chest and electrical kit. My junk drawer has proper junk in it. 😂
