@teengee so I can get a replacement battery kit for $35 and replacement ram to take it up from 2gb to 16gb for $15. So for $50 I can get this heavy beast back in business.

Mine got all puffy like that about six months ago and I swapped to another MacBook. When they won’t sit level on the desk, it’s a problem.
@bfgreen I took mine in for service for an unrelated problem (sticking keys), and the tech noticed that my battery was doing the same thing. Steered me to Apple who ended up paying for the replacement. 👍
