This is a CEO talking? Where's the wishy washy?

"You know, I usually don't like getting in front of the camera. I prefer that our products speak for themselves. I really fucking hate generative AI. I don't like what's happening in the industry and I don't like what it's doing to artists. We're not going to be introducing any generative AI into out products." --Procreate CEO James Cuda

It’s in response to Adobe who jumped on AI like a cat on a Junebug and forces a monthly charge for their tools.

I don’t know a single artist who loves Adobe. They just feel forced to use it.

@b4cks4w a bold stance 👍🏼

"Generative AI is ripping the humanity out of things," Procreate wrote on its website. "Built on a foundation of theft, the technology is steering us toward a barren future."

GenAI is many things...in creative work it can lead to boredom with the creative process and final product. The past year on a digital creator website I frequented, the "art" now all looks the same. Literally. It's obvious who is using AI and almost always uninspiring.
