Tomorrow I’m putting signs on both entryway doors that say “Please Do Not buzz random apartments. Only press the buzzer for the apartment you are intending to contact.” 😠😤

@LadyZurk I’ve never made this before because I didn’t want to mess with a blender but now having an immersion blender I can see myself making a lot more! We already have leftover chili & chicken enchilada soup in the freezer. Happy to add more!

Dinner tonight: Thelma Saunders squash soup (seasoned with roasted garlic, curry, thyme, white pepper, cayenne, and turmeric) with rotisserie chicken. Added the last of the cherry tomatoes to it as well to use them up.

Change of plans. The contractor she was working with for some projects on her house was acting real flaky (constantly cancelling, weird excuses, not bringing the materials he claims to have purchased, etc) so she ‘fired’ him and is waiting for him to bring her the materials she paid for so she can have someone else complete the work. She doesn’t want to be home alone when he comes to pick stuff up so I’m going to her house instead.

@tyghebright I have to put AirPods in and music when I shop otherwise I get really cranky.

I hope spouse is ready for soup season cuz I just bought an immersion blender!

@Smersh I’m excited to see how it turns out! If good then I plan to buy more dried peppers to add to other batches.

Since this is probably our last truly nice day out (low-70s) I’m grilling Juicy Lucy burgers with truffle goats milk cheese tonight. Roasted red potatoes from the veggie stand as well.
