Got invited out to aunt’s house to help trim back basil, kale, banana peppers, onions, zucchini, and cucumber AKA “please come take some, we have too much”. A great opportunity to ask her what we should do about my dad since she’s his little sister.

I got so much stuff!! I’m gonna be busy in the kitchen!

Parsley, sage, beets, apples, onions, cucumber, zucchini, green beans, bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, kale, tomatoes of various sizes, and basil

Today: Blanche and freeze kale, green beans, & peppers. Also need to make a ton of pesto so first - to the grocery store!

Ready to make some things. My hands smell awesome 😁

I wasn’t so sure about the sage & walnut pesto recipe because I’ve never heard of using sage this way but it turned out SO very delicious!

Blanched & put in freezer kale, green beans, bell peppers, and jalapeño peppers. Tomorrow I need to make an apple pie to use up the apples before they go back & before it’s hotter later this week.
