The rights war on women continues. It's all about control.
"Berger also notes that in states that approved no-fault divorce, domestic violence rates dropped about 30%, the number of women killed by an intimate partner fell by 10%, and women’s deaths by suicide dropped by 8–16%. It’s hard to imagine American voters are going to embrace an end to no-fault divorce."

Just got a survey call from some polling firm. We got as far as confirming my first name, the county in Missouri where I live, that I am registered to vote, and that out of R, D, or something else, I would identify as a Democrat and all of a sudden we were done. Their representative sample needed no Missouri Democrat, apparently. Because it was soooooo representative, I am sure 😜🤣
@kel hope you can break that synopsis-murdering task up with other things! So glad I retired from teaching if for no other reason than to escape 80 slide PowerPoint presentations. Design can be learned - maybe not by those holding teaching certificates though.
Facts. Should be required reading for all citizens. Share em.

@WayneEdH his campaign couldn't have picked a worse spot for an appearance. North Philly isn't exactly his kind of hood. He'd have drawn a little better in the Kentucky part of Pennsylvania (the middle).
@Priestess I would lay even odds there will be a technical difficulty with said button. Even though that technology would be an insane man's best bet.
@Graci what are the odds that the microphone switch doesn't work? I'm not sure that would be bad for Joe - his opponent will sound like the idiot he is. The off switch is his friend, though he'd pretend he was a silenced victim.
@JoyfullyDazed @Maude @damselfly59 Are you trying to kill me?
@catlynne333 as a seven year old kid at Connie Mack Stadium in Philly, I had the opportunity to shake Willie's hand. He was a hero to so many of us. Rest in peace Mr. Mays and thank you for your game and your kindness.
@kel I taught the Creative Suite at a technical high school for over 20 years. Once I retired and had to pay their monthly rate, it became cost prohibitive. I've been able to transition to the Affinity Suite without losing too much capability. The learning curve wasn't too steep. You might want to look into getting it - it's being sold at 50% off right now.
@DevinY1 I should go away to a deserted island I think. Blow up my TV and unplug the CAT8 cables. My brain is going to melt.
They identify as "pro life". They're not. They're only pro embryo. Fucking assholes.
@OldDude71 I had to restrain my anger. I'll be working on getting him unemployed next November.
@nursefrombirth How your congress rep voted today:
clerk.house.gov/Votes/2024260
This is what they do - everyday. The worst Congress in history.
@LnzyHou this is what they do - just this? I'm so angry my tax dollars are paying these morons.
@OldDude71 Brian always is selling himself as a moderate problem solver but he always shows up in stupid votes like these. Clown.
My hero, Jamie Raskin, gives the GQP knuckleheads holy hell:
Flew in from that other place. Very Glad to be here, people are central to social media that works.
