Here’s the link again… if we have to drive then we must rent a car within the next few days. Anything we do transportation-wise will only cost more as the days go by.

Thanks for donating and thanks for sharing.

Also, we love pet/animal pics. Here’s my cat saying ”stop with the pics” 🤣💕🤣

Even if we drive, the rental car will cost at least $750 (including deposit) for ten days, on the low end. The gas will cost another $609 round trip according to the trip map.

It’ll take probably a good three days to drive

Motels are going to be sixty to ninety dollars

There’s food and then there’s gas and getting back and forth and around the reservation. That’s bare minimum. Documents have to be filed & people picked up. Airline tickets would be over three grand and we’d still need a car

I’ll ask Calvin to do an update video today.

In the meantime, if you can spare a few to help lineal descendants get back to the reservation for these historic events. If you can share so we can get the word out then maybe we’ll get more help. If a guy who flipped off Noem can raise 6K certainly descendants needing to attend an historic event can. Please help us get over there. If we have to drive the whole way, we will but after the long drive to the funeral we’d like to make it easier!

I never knew that repeating words till they are meaningless had an actual name!

How cool

You know when someone has been abused at some point in their life, and they carry around the coping mechanisms that got them through that horrible time and bring them to new situations? And their interactions seem out of place or unexpected? Hello fellow , let's use this as a place of healing. Honestly, you don't have to "engage" with your audience like that here. It's a fresh start for us, let's make it exactly what we want and need. 💖

The problem with positions of authority is it promotes authoritarian thinking towards those below you.

Our problem in the USA is we live in a democratic republic, but most businesses that we work under are autocratic dictatorships. So we are already mentally conditioned to accept those kind of rulerships, at least when it comes to business. And some when it comes to politics too.

I absolutely despair at the state of the UK and the perception that the Tories are in any way fiscally responsible or to be trusted

I remember being frustrated w/this UI when I first joined 5 yrs ago. I had never ever used anything like it before. It felt intimidating & I was anxious I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. There was no mobile app at the time.

So, I started pushing buttons, clicking on links, looking for resources within the site and asking questions of those who had experience here.

Please don’t give up. All is not lost. Different perhaps but it’s doable. Take your time. Embrace learning something new 💜

For sure, some here have read "In the Beginning Was the Command Line" by the great Neal Stephenson.

There's a description of operating systems that's excerpted here: rufuspollock.com/2019/10/09/in

CoSoNauts remind me of the Linux enthusiasts (read to end).

Working in IT I constantly head desk as people just flat out refuse to read and follow instructions.

My job security exists solely due to incompetence. (And printers, fuck those things)

Hancock shouldn't be allowed to go on "I'm A Celebrity",he's got an unfair advantage with his experience among leeches, rats and feral beasts.

As UK politics continues to eat itself Hancock clearly hopes he can build on Dorries "success" by emulating her reality TV career...

<Sigh>

Why is there not a rule to stop MPs doing this when they already have a job?

It’d be pretty funny if suddenly all of those on the bird would ask tech support questions of Chief Twit since he thinks he’s the Complaint hotline.

Maybe I’m being childish but I’d get a giggle out of that

"If women want to lean in to work, they may first want to lie down for a good night’s rest. A Washington State University-led study indicated that sleep quality impacted women’s mood and changed how they felt about advancing in their careers. Meanwhile, men’s aspirations were not impacted by sleep quality."
