I am always thrilled to hear Christians like this speak. A while ago, we had some folks bashing Christians, ignoring the folks among us who follow that faith and are compassionate, decent folks.
I didn't dive in directly, but posted several examples of Christian activists, such as those in the Ploughshares movement.
As the bigots weaponize their faith, we need strong voices from the Christian left, like this.

I shared this with my neighbor. Who said. "Yep that's the truth, right there."
He is also a devout Christian. He calls himself a first century Christian. He does not belong to any church. He studies with a few friends online. He absolutely rejects Christian nationalism. He absolutely rejects the 2025 doctrine. He is a follower of Jesus. And will vote the Democratic ticket all the way down.
He often says: "Love others the way your dog loves you."
