Services that rely on #Microsoft are suffering from a global outage, airlines in particular. The cause is TBD.
I tried to upload a file last night to OneDrive, but it wouldn't go. That must have been the start of it.
Otherwise, I don't rely on 365 or any cloud service for this reason.
The Sci Fi version of "Battlestar Galactica" posited that the Cylons sabotaged the Colonials' networks with a virus to bring down their defenses.
So yeah, I'll sit right here with my PC-based software. 😊

February 8, 1974 ... Bob Newhart roasts his best friend Don Rickles on the Dean Martin celebrity roast show.
When I heard today that Bob had passed, my first thought was, "He and Rickles are going at each other right now."

When i was in law enforcement, our agency (and other locals) coordinated with USSS when Reagan was in town. The plan was the same --- USSS protects POTUS while local police, who know the area better, patrol and secure.
We had a local crazy lady who was always calling our phone lines, babbling threats and nonsense. She lived with her children; they did nothing about it.
She called me one day when Reagan was in town and threatened POTUS. I called USSS. We never heard from her again. 😊 (2/2)

Some interesting tidbits:
* The shooter searched for campaign events by both Trump and #Biden. He chose the nearby Trump event. This suggests he wasn't motivated by partisanship.
* Local police were responsible for the sniper building. They didn't have the staffing. USSS didn't cover it.
* He'd been reported as suspicious but local police lost him. (1/x)

@WordsmithFL I can't help but remember a few years back, up here in Canada, our long-serving leader, Jean Chretien, was planning on retiring. Some in his party decided soon wasn't soon enough so they ran him out of the party, roughly. They were trounced at the polls and lost everything. It would be 9 years in the dark with the demon Harper as a result. #carefulwhatyouwishfor #politics

Where were the "Never #Biden" Democrats a year ago? They could have run their own candidate in the primaries. They didn't.
But now that the primaries are over and Biden is assured the nomination, they're trying to short-circuit the process and foist on us their own personal preference -- without us getting to vote on it.
Only two things have changed in the last year:
(1) We're all a year older, and
(2) Biden's record in office is even better.
I'm a Democratic voter. I voted for Joe #Biden in the primary. He won. In fact, he won across the nation. He earned the Democratic presidential nomination.
But now a few Hollywood elite tell me that my vote shouldn't count. We should find someone else.
Since when do George Clooney, Rob Reiner, and Jeffrey Katzenberg get to negate my vote and tell me who my party's nominee will be? Why did we hold primary elections if Hollywood is going to decide our candidate?
So if anxious Democrats manage to sack their best presidential candidate, and replace him with someone who has no track record, and the polls don't change, then what will they do?
Once you sack him, there's no going back.
If the polls get worse because people think Dems are disloyal and can't be trusted, who will you blame?

Florida also has more than a third of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers arrested on J6 charges.
