#Politics From #CNN: President #Biden sent a letter to congressional Democrats telling them he's staying in the presidential race. So nyah.

#Politics From #CNN: This is a standard practice in the political industry. Most radio hosts haven't the first clue what to ask. The politician's representative will provide the media outlet with suggested questions.
This is no different from the entertainment industry, where media hosts are provided questions to ask the star they have for two minutes.
The host easily could have ignored the suggested questions. She didn't. That's why she got fired.

#Politics Funny how the mainstream media keep telling us that far-right politicians and causes inevitably are going to win, only to be proven wrong.

#Politics From David Corn at #MotherJones:
"Before proceeding, letโs note that under Democratic rules, there is no way for the party at this point to deny #Biden its presidential nomination. He holds a majority of delegates to next monthโs convention in Chicago, and they are pledged to vote for him. For anything else to happen, Biden would have to withdraw from the race. If he sticks with it, the rest of this what-iffing is irrelevant."

'The poll also showed Biden narrowed the gap with independent voters, with #Trump and Biden being tied at 40 percent."
โWhile the first 2024 presidential debate appeared to alarm some Democratic leaders, our surveys of swing-state for Bloomberg News show the matter has done little to change the underlying dynamics of the contest."

I saw my cardiologist earlier in the week because of occasional dizziness. He wants me to wear this for two weeks.
Many of you who are older have probably worn a holter monitor at some point. This is the modern equivalent.
#Politics More from #Politico in May 2012:
"Some key Democrats say they have been dismayed watching Obama become a divider not a uniter, trying to incite anger among women, students and older voters. Itโs striking how, in private conversations with Obama advisers, they openly talk of chucking the feel-good politics of 2008 for a very conventional form of political warfare this time around."
#Politics from #Politico in May 2012:
"Obama, not Mitt Romney, is the one with the muddled message โ and the one who often comes across as baldly political. Obama, not Romney, is the one facing blowback from his own party on the central issue of the campaign so far โ Romneyโs history with Bain Capital. And most remarkably, Obama, not Romney, is the one falling behind in fundraising."

"The Democrats' overwhelming defeat in the midterm elections leaves President Obama with difficult choices ahead. Patrick Caddell has some advice: He should declare himself a one-term president, and spend the remainder of his time in the White House focusing on national problems, not campaigning."
