@guinnessphil #Trump, Greene, Flynn and others had years in office to expose and dismantle the weather machines supposedly manipulating hurricanes. But they didn't. Why? Because these "machines" don't exist.
All Trump did was use a Sharpie to draw a false hurricane cone on a map.
@MidnightRider There's a phenomenon in this country where a certain segment of the populace resents education and expertise. I've had my advanced education insulted many times over the years (by people who have no advanced education).
I told off a brother who claimed the government and media had overexaggerated #Florida #Hurricane #Milton to scare people. His source? Joe Rogan. 🤬
I made it very clear to him what is really going on here. He apologized.
@Lucky188 Yeah, I think it's more his rampaging narcissism than anything else.
If he gets the military escort, he thinks it makes him look strong. We all know he's afraid of appearing weak.
If he doesn't get the escort, he gets to play the victim and whine at his rallies.
Either way, the objective is to milk more money out of the rubes.

From #CNN ... A good article on Citizens, the state-operated "insurer of last resort" here in Florida because most of the private insurers have bailed or charge exorbitant premiums. Our agent signed us up for Citizens in May; it was less than half the quote we received from the private sector.

Before bedtime, I plugged our refrigerator into our solar-charged generator, which was plugged into a wall socket. We lost power for a little bit sometime during the night, but everything was working fine by morning.

Frame capture from #News13 yesterday evening reporting on the Cocoa Beach tornado. Had it continued, it would have gone right over our house in north Merritt Island. As it was, we still had a strong cell pass through, just no damage for us.
