Earlier this morning at the Lori Wilson Park crossover to Cocoa Beach. I was early on my way to the Cocoa Beach lap pool so I pulled in to take some pictures for my CoSo family. π
The most likely day statistically for a hurricane to hit Florida is September 10.
Statistics are right on schedule ...
Invest 95 has a 90% probability of becoming a tropical event, per the National Hurricane Center. It should be in the Carribean by September 10.
Per Mike's Weather Page, some models suggest it will curve north prior to Florida, but too early to tell. The early models also suggest it could be Cat 3+.

#Idalia now forecast to reach Cat 3 on approach to Tallahassee early Wednesday morning, probably Cat 2 at landfall.
Impacts along the Gulf Coast from Tampa north ... #SpaceCoast will see winds on Wednesday around 25 MPH but very little rainfall from this event.
