Flash Flood Warning just issued for parts of the Southern California Basin. NWS Los Angeles tweets:

"Another band of rain has lead to high rain rates in San Gabriel mountains and foothills, and expanding to the west to include West Hollywood, Beverly hills and Burbank. Rates of 0.5-1.0 inch per hour, and dangerous and life threatening flash flooding is occurring."

"Hurricane has sped up a bit, along with a slight shift eastward in its track. This results in Sunday morning through Sunday evening being the time frame of most impact, along with slightly weaker winds."

Right now, the heaviest rainfall is out in the desert, where relatively few people live. The track can always change, of course.
