This is now the 2nd strongest hurricane ever recorded by pressure on this side of the world. The eye is TINY at nearly 3.8 miles wide. Here's the local police and fire for Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, etc. They're reporting damage from a tornado in the area of SR-520/Banana River Drive.

Brevard County Sheriffs Office (BCSO) reporting a significant tornado just hit Cocoa Beach. One of the deputies said it's "at least an EF-2." Many businesses damaged as well as homes.
If you want to look it up on Google Maps, search 1775 N. Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach. That's the Wells Fargo that lost its roof. The tornado started at the Resorts at Cocoa Beach and moved northwest. Many homes damaged on St. Croix Ave. behind the Publix.

@LnzyHou Ready to go. I was trained long ago as a first responder and disaster preparedness. We've had 60 MPH winds many times before. The forecast rain totals are 4"-6". Not that bad. No rain in tomorrow's forecast, so we have time to dry out a little bit.
