No surprise, #Trump appointed judge Aileen Cannon suggests she's going to postpone his classified documents trial indefinitely because the prosecution doesn't show "a level of understanding" for how hard this is for the defense team. π

@WordsmithFL This is a completely off-the-wall theory, so, seriously, take it as such.
I don't think they want Trump federally prosecuted and have every intention of letting the classified document trial go. They allowed Cannon to have the case on purpose, and have made no effort to rein her in on purpose. Why?
Prosecuting Trump federally sets a precedent for future presidents. We like our presidents able to do crime without consequence. Stopping it for him stops it for everyone.
@WordsmithFL Time to postpone her paycheck indefinitely until she does her job. Better yet, remove her from the bench for bias and incompetence.
@WordsmithFL On the flip side, idgit managed to crime in multiple jurisdictions and not all the judges drank MAGA foolaid. He's heading for multiple life sentences and likely pockets as empty and his heart and soul. I'm beginning to think DOJ is gunning for a Cannon as much as tfg in Florida case if she were smarter she might know it.
@Lucky188 I agree the Cannon case is probably a writeoff. The way the rules work in that court, the judge is assigned by random selection and it was her name that came up. She's clearly incompetent.
I suppose the federal prosecutor could ask for another judge but it would only set off accusations of a fix.
So take the three out of four. He'll be convicted in the other cases.
@Lucky188 @WordsmithFL But I think the facts of the Mar-a-Lardo top secret documents case are of huge importance. And it should be heard publicly before anyone votes.
@Superstitionsee It should, but it appears that the Loose Cannon intends to prevent that from happening.
Not surprising.
So much for oaths. Clearly she doesn't mind having her trump love on full display.
My crystal ball says this doesn't end well for her or her career.
@JoyfullyDazed She'll run for office at some point. Her career path won't be in justice.
I can totally see that, but my crystal ball hasn't changed its mind. π
@WordsmithFL Anyone else tired of blatant corruption and middle fingers in this country's governance?
