@LaurelGreen I do it. It’s cramped, but I’ve found:
- the ~ key is my best friend
- spaces (Apple’s multiple desktops) are great for everything else (like lesson pages, exam questions, etc)

@SalK @Luna4x0 Agree. I had read the books before I watched the series. The adaptation was very good. Avasarala’s character is even more intense in the books both in deviousness and coarse language. Currently rereading the whole thing so the book series context is fresh when I get to the as yet unread last volume.

@SalK @TomB Visited London in ‘14 and a casual survey of cars parked near the AirBnB flat I stayed in showed practically all manual. I had no interest in renting a car because *London* but the manual would have been the least of my worries: shifting w/left hand would. As a guy told me, “everytime I went to shift I’d roll down the window”.

@corlin It’s a long day, but I enjoy it. Getting home tired and chilling to the pundits overanalyze it is actually relaxing. Especially for this primary, where I’m good with candidates I didn’t vote for winning their races.

@Numerous_Piccolo_564 I was just thinking about this. Growing up in the ‘70s, Polish jokes were very common: as if all Poles were stupid and inept. Fortunately they dwindled over time. Today the Poles are rightfully lauded for their humanitarian efforts with Ukrainians. And it is the Russians who ought to be the brunt of those old jokes.
