Progress on the mural.

The designs on the pots are the client's VERY specific request. I don't love them, but she does.

Scroll down my timeline for the project from the beginning. πŸ˜€

Two more on the mural progress.

Homeowner is requesting some additional decor on the pots. Not crazy about the ideas, but it ain't my house, so . . . it shall be done.

Merry Christmas, fellow early-risers!

Hope today is peaceful & happy.

I broke this. Can't blame it on a cat.

But I thought it looked pretty cool.

Lesson learned?

Sometimes pretty things break & turn into something a lot more interesting.

Paul Mellender - amazing artist I follow on LInkedIn - has done illustrations of A Christmas Carol scenes.

This one of Marley's ghost . . . 😍

Happy Almost Christmas, people.

Good morning, all.

Been working on an outdoor mural the last few days. The homeowner, after I completed a zillion non-sexy paint projects that had to come first, finally wanted to start this.

Here's some progressive photos. (Not even close to done.)

Hope you're lucky enough to do things you love, too, sometimes.

This rings true for me. My dad, my brothers, my exes - all sucked big time at wrapping presents.

It has been raining for . . .

I don't know - 5, 6 days? Super windy and rainy last night.

This morning's radar. They think this may be the last of it today.

Hope so, because we live in the woods on a sand pile (Key Largo) and the ants (1/2 inchers) are desperately trying to invade to get out of the rain.

A few years back, I hung red Christmas balls from the pendant lights in my kitchen.

I can't even blame this on a cat. I did it - knocked into one by accident - and this is how it broke.

I thought it looked kinda cool, so now there's a picture.

Happy Thursday!

I sold 3 of the 'Hat' math tile items yesterday!

So happy - all the work creating is beginning to bring results.

My youngest son is a brainiac nerd guy, & he and his friends inspired these.

From the cookie painting party a few years back.

Where I live now - can't host them any more - house is way too small.

But moving north soon, so . . .
hoping to make it happen again next year!

No offense, gentlemen -

but this is insanely accurate. 🀣

Yawns.

Good morning, CoSo!

I have a friend with 2 cats. Tiger and Lily.

Lily is sweet, wouldn't misbehave ever.

I'm convinced Tiger is part Florida bobcat, and a little devil.

Said friend just put up her Christmas tree. Countdown to disaster starts now. 🀣

I stole this from someone who already posted it here (sorry, can't remember who).

My painting - Exuberance.

Different colored flowers from one weird plant that looks kind of like a pomegranate?

I love making up weird flora.

The original oil on canvas of this sold, but canvas prints are available at my Etsy store. (link in bio) Yes, without the watermarks. (Ppl do ask this.)

Have an exuberant Friday!

Dec. 7th, 1941

When you visit the memorial, everyone - yes, EVERYONE - gets teary-eyed.

War sucks. I hate that our children get slaughtered bc leaders with over-sized egos can't resolve their issues.

I love maps.

This one's an illustration of 1400s Paris by Geoffroy Thoorens.

😍
