I follow an animator (that's an understatement) on LinkedIn, Aamir Karim.
A while back, he posted this amazing 3D of Calvin & Hobbes that he created.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this so much.
Reposting this fun exchange between Randy Wayne White & Tim Dorsey on the bathroom wall of Murder on the Beach bookstore in Delray Beach, FL.
Because Tim died Monday night.
I did know him, but not all that well. I'm a HUGE fan of his Serge Storm series, and his passing leaves an enormous hole in the entire mystery writing community. He was a great guy, and I will miss him & his books so very much.
If you know any uber-smart math nerds, I've got a gift solution for you. My youngest & his friends (all RPI grads) inspired these.

Last time I flew, I used the outlets for my charger, bc I'd seen this.
Anybody else ever seen this? I thought it was real, but is it?
Hello, Monday-
I never get to play Scrabble anymore. No one will play with me, even if I spot them points. Sigh.
I've done Words With Friends - not the same as in person.
Anyway . . .
Perhaps a perfect mug for the holiday visiting season . . . π
It begins this upcoming week, and I am braced for it.
Well, apparently, today is an anniversary. 6 years?
Happy Birthday, CoSo! You may wear my chocolate crown.
Here's a picture of the Ohia Lehua tree in Hawaii.
One of my favorites.
Have a great Wednesday!
One of my favorite paintings - Serenity. Original sold years ago, but canvas prints are available in multiple sizes. You know, in case anyone's interested.
No, the watermarks are not on the prints. (Yes, people HAVE asked that.)
Happy Monday!

Happy Sunday!
Put on your Sunday shoes.
I used to custom hand-paint shoes. These were done for a mother-of-the-bride.
It's tedious as hell. Figured out a way to make it really stick & be washable, too.
BTW, the brand was Angela Nuran. She specializes in making shoes you CAN dance in.
We can never know the depth of pain and sorrow borne by the veterans of war.
'Thank you for your service' isn't enough, but what else can you say?
I found this photo comparison a while back, and although it's a Ukrainian soldier in the '40s, it illustrates what all war veterans must feel inside.
So many books & movies dwell on the scars they come back with and the ways they cope - or don't.
We owe them everything.
