Ridiculing, taunting, daring trick o'treaters is never a good idea.

Given that Christians love to proselytize if given the opportunity I am surprised that they are not handing out pamphlets/flyers as treats. How many of us got such handouts when trick o'treating?

@Victor We pay taxes! Really? That's noteworthy for your resume? You know who doesn't pay taxes? The people that brainwashed you into abject stupidity.

@Victor 🤣 mark house with a big pentagram and avoid at all costs

@Victor That’s one way to get your home TP’ed and egged. Might get a hot bag of shiz too.

They’ll be working hard trying to get that dried egg yolk off.

@Victor Nope it is not. That letter also shows how ignorant the home owner is about the actual origins of Halloween.

@Victor I'm kinda confused by the last couple lines. Did I miss Jesus opening a candy store to sell candy?

@Lucky188 The simplistic "Christian" notion that celebrating Halloween, evil, and the Dead runs against their beliefs and instead you should be turning towards Christianity and find Jesus.

@Victor I knew that, was poking at the absurdity. At the rate feral christians are going it might be a rusty van used to temp kids with candy .😉

@Victor I guess they figure Jesus does the hiring at the store? 🤷‍♀️😁

@Lucky188

@Victor @Lucky188 Someone needs to show up there dressed as Jesus and tell them to offer the kids candy. 🙃

@Victor

Idk about you, but I'd rather be a satanic socialist than a 'patrotic chri$tian' any day 🤷‍♀️

(I'd also leave a note correcting their grammar & advising them that the local elementary school is accepting new students)

@Victor
I would much rather be called a pagan than a hypocritical, closed minded, self righteous, racist, holy roller with no heart or soul.

@Victor last time I took son out for Halloween some old woman stuffed a very nasty pamphlet in his bag. I ripped the disgusting thing up all over her porch. Son was about 8. Telling an 8 year old that they and their parents are going to burn in hellfire is unacceptable.

@Victor

We sure did. Also made sure we soaped their windows or TP’d their trees on Devil’s Night 😈

@Victor A very old lady once threw rocks at some trick or treaters in my neighborhood.

Pretty sure she'd just immigrated to live with relatives, and they forgot to tell her about Halloween, and she thought everyone was messing with her.

@AskTheDevil Interesting. I have witnessed how Halloween has become a global institution within the last few decades, and at times, overtaken national traditions in other countries. Dia de Los Muertos is another phenomenon that was quickly promoted by certain factors (Disney's Coco) and become established. All Hallow's Eve, Dia de los Muertos parallels traditional days of paying reverence to the dead. There is a lot of social and historical commonality.

@Victor Where I used to live, the priest lived in a little house next to the Catholic Church which was on a main Trick or Treat main sidewalk. He handed out fullsize candy bars.
