Starting to wonder if it's occurring to companies that for the majority of us, spending more time at home, hearing their same commercial for the billionth time might be counterproductive....
Or it could be something else. Maybe next I’ll look at education funding by county?
I looked at a national water quality map for lead and compared it to 2020 presidential election results by county as a high-level screening. Didn’t see an obvious correlation. There are so many variables, it would take a well-funded, long-term research project to really evaluate.
I wonder if there’s something in municipal water supplies, unintentional or otherwise, that is degrading people’s cognitive functions and leading to what we’re seeing these days. Some of the things people are willing to believe without critically thinking is mind boggling to me.

The truth is that we really do need healing in the body politic. Like the human body, however, closing up an infected wound will only let the infection fester and grow, and ultimately threaten the life of the entire body. We must clean out the infection from our body politic. Only then can we bind and close the wound and hope to heal.
