Trump: "I think with our little secret we are gonna do really well with the house, our little secret is having a big impact, he and I have a little secret, we will tell you what it is when the race is over."
I dunno man, sure sounds like (another) conspiracy to defraud the United States to me.
The other person he is referring to is Mike Johnson.
Guess: There's gonna be electoral college fuckery resulting in the House getting to decide who won the election.
Musk says if Dickless gets elected, "some Americans will face hardships" as a result of his somehow instantly balancing the budget.
Flipper suggests raiding the Social Security trust fund and cutting benefits to seniors, who are "taking advantage of government" by getting a return on the "investments" they were obliged to make when they were working.
It's like they're DARING America to kick them to the curb now.
It wasn’t just “4 years of Trump”, ever since he announced that he was running for president nine years ago, the media has given him nothing but non stop coverage.
You literally could not go anywhere without stumbling across a “Oh, here’s a crazy fucking thing Trump did today” news story.
I want him to lose because I never want to spend the next four years talking this much about politics ever again.

Turns out that two more editorial board members of the LA Times resigned on Thursday , one day after another member resigned the day before, it wasn’t only because the owner decided not to endorse VP Harris , it was also because he posted on the former #birdsite that the whole editorial board decided not to endorse her, the liar owner lied about it and the three members resigned in protest for that lie also .

And for the "he deteriorates now" crowd - the baseline of his vocabulary was already low in 2017:
“They had these beautiful, soft towels. Very good towels."
"a crowd of a lot of people"
“really did not do a very good job in fact did a very poor job.”
Most people whose first language is not English have a better command of it.
“And I came in and there was a crowd of a lot of people. And they were screaming and they were loving everything. I was having fun, they were having fun.”
Imagine being a Puerto Rican and voting for #Trump. Because the main point of disaster relief is that he and 50 journalists have fun.
White House welcomes largest recorded reduction in overdose deaths
According to preliminary CDC data, drug overdose deaths fell 12.7% in the year ending in May, with 41 states reporting declines. This marks the sixth consecutive month of decreases and the first time since early 2021 that estimated annual overdose deaths have dropped below 100,000.

Finally watched Monkey Man, Dev Patel's Indian action movie. It's excellent. Well paced. Beautifully shot. Great fights. The violence is more intense and bloody than I prefer, but it suits the intensity of the story.
But this isn't a mindless action movie. It deals with the corrupt police and fascist government of India. It includes a community of hijras (traditional trans women). It's political messages nearly got it buried.
