I heard this term the other day: Conflict Entrepreneur
Here's a legal definition:
Conflict entrepreneur refers to a group or individual who promote conflict for profit. They exist inside or outside government. Usually, a conflict entrepreneur engages in or directly benefit from illegal economic activity that promotes violence or undermines efforts for good governance and economic development.
Stop and consider before clicking or engaging. Who is profiting from my fear or anger?
I'm catching the end of the Gamers for Harris stream. It's very good. Hopefully I can watch the whole thing tomorrow.

My dad came over with his laptop so I could watch the Mets. Fox is the one channel I don't get over the antenna, and I didn't want him to sign in on mine in case the provider cracks down. ❤️

Feeling a sense of election dread? Don’t freak out: do something! VOLUNTEER! There are plenty of options: register voters, host or attend candidate events, hand out campaign literature, canvass, or phone bank. If you’re an introvert like me, help with social media, write postcards to voters, bundle campaign materials to distribute, donate to candidates, or help them behind the scenes. On a personal level, remind your friends and family and neighbors to vote and offer to drive them to the polls.
Well, I did not intend to start my day reading about a heinous act of animal cruelty, but here we are. I won't link to it, because it contains graphic detail, so I'll just say this:
Fuck Doug Hamlin and the rusty bucket of bog water he calls a conscience.
I'm gonna go hug my cats (even though they woke me up at 4:30am by pushing the bathroom door open, making it creak like a haunted house) and try to clean my brain.
