@q00w2 I loaded up on primes bc they were cheap (well cheap compared to zooms) then my interests started increasing and changing lenses all the time is annoying if anything. So I'm investing in a 28-70 which seems to be perfect for things like this with so much posisibly going on . If I knew what to expect that would be one thing. Like state fair id bring my 28 no hesitation. Maybe even my 16 . But this, it's my first one. I know they got rides and a band and I'm purposely going at night

I'm fighting with 3 lenses. The 28. The 50 and 85. I want to try and run with one lens but not knowing what's gonna be at the event tonight I think the 85 might be too tight. Which brings it to the 28 and 50. 50 is perfect for portraits but the 28 is perfect for the street. Before anyone asks yes I'm investing in a zoom to eliminate this problem once I get my job but that won't be til September which means I'm stuck using primes what do you guys think

Ok folks. Tell me what you think. If I'm wrong in my thinking you can tell me. There's a small fair this weekend (we call them field days) and I obviously plan on taking my camera with me AND my business cards....nobody can't say I'm not hustling and putting in the work 🤣 anyways I DON'T want to take my 70-200 because I want to be light. The plan as it stands is to take pictures of rides and people and if I'm lucky some street portraits (thus the cards being handled out) anyways

Does anybody know how to block specially, voip calls on an android phone? @th3j35t3r any idea? I keep getting calls from a 508 (Massachusetts) area code but the number is going through bandwidth (.com) keep in mind I don't even live in MA!

@Tattoomonkey29 thank you. I need to get back into shooting people. I enjoy landscapes and all but I get bored with them since I have to take what's given vs if I had a person I can have them pose a certain way or look a certain way. The one downside of nature 🤣

@redenigma when I went up there yesterday I immediately fell in love with the area. People seem to be a tad quirky (In a good way) and really friendly (not used to that here in Utica) the downtown commons are awesome and I like the amount of outdoor activities. I could def see myself up there . But I need to explore more as I'm sure one day isn't enough time to spend there to figure out a big change like relocating

And finally the team lost 8-7. Home opener. Nephew was ticked but after he calmed down he said he's ready for next week as long as the other team as he put it "aren't disgusting cheaters". 🤣🤣.

Ok so I took my nephew to his first baseball game.

The good news: he had a good time and wants to go again.

The bad news: he almost had a ball but a bunch of sharks (kids.) swarmed behind the bleachers and were swallowing them up. One kid had 4. It's like really? You need that many from one game?
