Now would be a great point in the story for a guardian angel, talking animal, or sarcastic alien to show me that things really aren't so bad.

From exactly two years ago. Reasonably certain this was inspired by the first season of Peacemaker.

I sometimes stop talking to people because I think they dislike me despite having little or no supporting evidence.

Anyway, I’m either extremely perceptive or the stupidest person ever.

Frankly, I’m fine with January lasting forever if it means I’ll never have to pay February’s rent.

Not to brag, but I doubt anyone is as unqualified for any job as I am for basic existence.

The weather is so cold that it killed my car battery *and* froze the hood shut, thereby making it impossible for the battery to be replaced.

I'd be angrier if I weren't so in awe of the thoroughness.

Anyone who would accuse me of having a low pain tolerance should know that I'm an obsessive hand-washer who lives in an area with extremely dry winter air.
