At what point does one become so wealthy that paying their bills becomes optional?

The point at which you're willing to pay lawyers amounts in excess of what you actually owe to keep from paying it.
@mcfate It seems like some of them don't even pay their lawyers.
Lawyers are a close-to-inexhaustible resource, if your standards are low enough.
@TheCard Maybe the to-big-to-fail point? Maybe when "I'ma take my ball and go home" becomes a meaningful threat? Not sure. But until a thermonuclear fireball becomes an "acceptable casualties" option, we do at least *seem* to be stuck with these mutant abominations.π
