I can't watch the episode of The Critic in which Jay's cartoonishly evil billionaire boss runs for president without reflecting on how much better he is than literally any Republican seeking elected office in 2022.

@TheCard at least that asshole can attract pigeons with his voice

@elmaxx LOL! There was so much good stuff in this episode. It's probably my favorite of the entire series.

@TheCard My dude, also a The Critic appreciator... where you've been all my life?

@elmaxx LOL! There are more out there than you might think! Almost every time I post anything Critic-related on Twitter, a bunch of people I wouldn't expect to be familiar the show chime in.

@elmaxx Incidentally, my Duckman-related tweets never pick up much traction.

@TheCard that's a shame, Duckman was brilliant, and I like Jason Alexander as Duckman better than George Constanza

@elmaxx Right? It kills me that it ended on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved. With so many '90s properties being resurrected, I'm shocked no one has even considered bringing back Duckman.

@TheCard Dude! I was debating that with a friend a couple nights ago!

Duckman would certainly kick ass if it got resurrected

@elmaxx Oh, yeah, it would definitely find more of an audience today. I honestly feel like it laid the groundwork for a lot of the adult animation that's currently popular, but I'm also extremely biased.

I think it was the first cartoon I watched that wasn't afraid to have sad endings. (Granted, a LOT of the jokes were lost on me as a kid.)
