This kind of day brings me down.
Knew to expect dark NJ weather. Already 3 days in a row. Reminds me of MI October-June. No sunshine.
Unlike Asheville, St Croix or Colorado where sun is almost daily.
Bring sun or snow. Okay? This spitting stuff is boring.

Sigh... You say boring... And as this is the first real rain I've seen in the past 4 months... This weather makes me happy...
The mist hides things... The world not fully exposed... The shadows. The shapes... Autumn slowly overtaking the heat of summer and this year all the way back to spring...
I love living where the seasons change and water is around...
As the crisp days come up... Clear, chilly... Just the hint of winter...

Sometimes in NYC, fall and it’s lead up to winter can be very hard with the shorter days and winter especially around Jan and Feb can feel interminable and oppressive, a dead-end of cold and gray clouds, so it’s good to be reminded of the continuum and how those seasons are transient conduits back to Spring. :)
