Today in middle school a seventh-grader drowning in entitlement and a sense of privilege in total seriousness asked me, the sub, to call the office and ask the admin assistant to bring her the food that her mom dropped off for her. She must be related to this former CoSo user.
@publickovacs @th3j35t3r I would have asked, "Are you having a medical emergency? If not, sit down and you can get it yourself, after class."
This is why I love teaching privately. I see them for a scheduled hour. How they use that hour is up to them. So I tend to get focus and little bs.
