@Museek Was talkin' with our daughter today... she's decidedly unhappy with the week's events for multiple reasons. She was very adamant that young men in general should get used to the idea of forced celibacy, since none of the women she knows on and around campus wants anything to do with them and the wave of misogynism that seems to be sweeping much of the country.

Kiddo's are spiraling a bit this morning. Sent some advice to them:

1) Keep your heads down, don't talk politics with anyone that's not family or 100% trusted friend. And NEVER in public! Some MAGA folks are actively out & looking for trouble.
2) Get online, and get a passport appointment scheduled now. The Post Office should have appointments that include doing your photo's.
3) Scrub your socials. They've talked about coming after donors and others; hopefully it's hyperbole, but... Musk.

Ugh. Teen_Syn and I walked over and got Flu / COVID boosters this morning. Just reached for my coffee and stretched just a bit too far... just a small twinge, tho. Nothing close to what the 2nd (I think?) shot was, "back in the day."

While they touched briefly on the money aspect, I think this article missed another point: Trump is campaigning in areas he's likely to lose, because he's laying the groundwork for an insurrection. He'll likely point at the results and craft a new lie for his supporters on how the election was stolen (in an area he had little chance of ever winning).
