We're down to it.
This is it.
This is what may very well be the last chance to save our Republic.
I'm not going to yell at you today. I will not enjoin you, or otherwise command you to do your duty to this ragged Republic.
Either you listened or you didn't.
Either you'll show up, HAVE shown up, or ... you won't.

Your choice for for now, anyway.
But I don't understand your decision, Citizen.
And I have no respect for it -- or you, to be perfectly honest.
I cannot fathom your willingness to sacrifice the rest of us on the altar of your own selfishness and frankly I don't care to know why.
If you don't show up today, if the state of our nation is not enough to compel you to do you duty as a citizen, then there's nothing you and I have to say to each other.
See yourself out.

@Stonekettle it’s mutual.
@Stonekettle We did our duty. We did not want to be the ones to disappoint The Beagle.
@Stonekettle I agree
@Kit @Stonekettle WORD.
@Stonekettle I am lazy. I am tired. My head hurts. My feet hurt, my back hurts, my arthritic hips hurt. I walked a mile, to the polling place and VOTED. I walked, in shoes that hurt, under threatening skies, in muggy weather, and placed my vote as I do each time the polls open. I'm a Democrat in Florida.
Today, if you won't vote, if your sacred principles keep you from the polls, or your apathy, or your laziness, or your sense of childish petulant spite, or because chaos and destruction are what you think the rest of us deserve for not giving you a unicorn, well, that's your choice. You give unfettered approval to Donald Trump and those currently dismantling everything you say you hold dear, without any caveat or restriction, but that is indeed your choice as an American.
