Last week I discussed how looking back on my past led me to realize how some mes' that could have been were alien to who I am now.

This week I discuss how the same exercise helped me discover consistent "Throughlines" in my life - and my possible lives.

They're part of what I call the "Internet Boyfriends" - positive, non-toxic guys who deep dive on various subjects.

Internet Today tries to sum up the insane crap this week in Republican scandals and just goddamn.

This one goes a bit off the rails into some grotesque stuff. Not bad enough to be removed from youtube, but harsh. youtu.be/OTUDYfgsa8s

2024 is the year I lost my ability to distinguish between curiosity and morbid curiosity.

Trump's mysogynist rants where he seems to think he's outreaching to women, and WTF is going on with Bill Maher aren't a strategy.

My guess is the Robinson thing has him freaked out.

A weird side effect of Trump and Vance slandering Springfield is I wonder how many people now think "Huh, actually sounds like a nice place to live."

Trump saying crap like this is not just going to inflame things, it's going to solidify and spread the conspiracy theories his assassination attempts were faked. What an idiot.

"Trump Says He’s Going to Springfield but Might Not Make It Out Alive"

"Rarely, if ever, has a presidential campaign collapsed from seeming assurance into utter chaos as Trump-Vance has. The campaign seems to have stumbled into a strange unintended message: 'Let’s go to war with Taylor Swift to stop Haitians from eating dogs.' The VP candidate wants to raise tariffs on toasters and worries that with Roe v. Wade overturned, George Soros may every day fill a 747 airliner with abortion-seeking pregnant Black women."

Trump and Vance current desperation strategy:

Start a war with Taylor Swift to prevent Haitians from eating your pets.

Sounds like a winner to me. I think it's really gonna resonate.

😂

OK had a gum graft, basically a patch of gum moved from one area to another that had receeded with age. Went pretty darn good (and if you need some dental surgery, I'll reccomend the group that did it).

Big thing I learned, oddly is that . . . man I forgot how good smoothies are. Like a bit of unsweetened almond milk with greens alone is pretty good. You can drink a salad basically.

A thought. After the Israeli page/walkie-talkie bomb hack, a LOT of people are having their devices inspected.

This method of explosive devices being used raised obvious concerns of innocents being killed.

But if explosives are found in the devices of others? Yeah, then it gets complicated, even if something got "misplaced" in the supply chain.

First pagers, now walkie-talkies???

Morals and ethics aside, I'm not going to buy anything from , not even pearls or grapefruits, simply on the ground that they may explode on me someday:

Republican Vice-President wise, I miss the quiet dignity of Dan Quayle.

Yes there are conspiracy theories Trum staged this second assassination threat.

Having Vance outright admitting he fabricated stories isn't gonna help.

So the news of a second Trump assasination is making far, far less of a splash than the first. It never made more than 50% of the memorandum front page (and is displaced), some sites that I use that covered it kind of shrug.

Trump is just spewing anti-immigrant stuff.

I feel like we could react more? But we're used to "troubled person with a gun does thing" that we're sort of numb.

So Trump blaming Democrats' "rhetoric" is rich.

Can anybody tell me one thing Democrats have said about Trump that is not true?

As opposed to him lying non-stop bullshit.

Trump is complaining about inflammatory rhetoric.

The people of Springfield would like a word.
