@sirgeefive I have a similar theory. A poker dealer I follow with a good sense of odds. He wonders if Trump can really make it to election without a major health/mental issue.
Secondly, I think you have a point. This is a repeat of last election, where Biden stayed calm and won. And Trump hit his ceiling while Biden hit the floor.
Third, I think R's desperately worry they'll have to swap out Trump. Note the VP battles.
@sirgeefive Oh *I* wouldn't replace Biden.
But I'm saying I think people can call for it in a non-destructive way.
A reminder that the Russians are trying to undermine Biden. Don't help them by panicking. Focus on defeating the GOP.
We'll sort out the details.
@tgraph52 I think we need to view France as the model. I'll take an election that's "Whatever, I hate Trump" if we win. We sort it out later.
And we sort out the Murdoch Media for what they're doing to us.
So Reform UK, Farage-a-go-go, might have been running fake people? https://www.theguardian.com/politics/article/2024/jul/08/reform-uk-under-pressure-to-prove-all-its-candidates-were-real-people
@ellesu I'm wondering if this is the case. As the chaos passed, people are getting organized and pissed. I see more "Vote Blue No Matter Who" people angry at the media.
OK caught Dungeon Flippers, a nice, wholesome fantasy comedy about fantasy real estate for monster. Great voice acting, good animation, funny. I hope it goes to series. https://www.youtube.com/@dungeonflippers2970
We need to be harder on corporations who have security breaches. One barrier is we still, often unconsciously, think of them as people. https://www.stevensavage.com/blog/2024/07/the-scale-of-victims.html
