Home care worker cares for infant. Home health worker wears a surgical mask. Infant now has Covid-19. Is this considered and exposure?

@Smersh home health worker(fully vaccinated) wears a surgical mask while caring for an infant that has Covid-19. Is this considered and exposure for the health care worker?

@Gierchak I think it’s considered close contact. With vaccination and proper PPE I would think they would be fine.

@Smersh @Gierchak @annamuneca For my healthcare system, would only be considered occupational exposure if aerosol generating procedure taking place, like a nebulizar treatment, while wearing a surgical mask. But this has changed a few times to be honest.
