@danalan finally stopped itching on Saturday night. The stitches come out on Thursday morning and hopefully the doc will clear me to go back to normal activities. Thanks for asking!

@Eulimnadian I was reading through the after care paperwork and it suggests Aquaphor as an approved alternative to vaseline. If the itching doesn't subside, I might run to the pharmacy and give that a try.

@Eulimnadian I hope not. I wouldn't wish the itching on anyone. I just stood in the shower and that gave me some relief

anyone have any foolproof ways to stop stitches from itching. Surgery on the bridge of my nose 3 days ago and for the last hour I have barely been able to keep from scratching. No pain thank goodness.
