anyone have any foolproof ways to stop stitches from itching. Surgery on the bridge of my nose 3 days ago and for the last hour I have barely been able to keep from scratching. No pain thank goodness.
@stueytheround I was told at least 11 times to not touch it, don't exercise, don't get sweaty etc... :P

Don't touch them. You need to distract yourself. Immersion video games are good. Tetris worked for me to help quit.smoking.
You can try an antihistamine; but check with a nurse - there should be some option to call a nurse for advice. I'd recommend Cortizone cream, but definitely check with with a nurse on that. It may have side effects like staining skin or impeding healing.
